University of Glasgow

I was commissioned by Glasgow University to create a large drawing of the university’s iconic Gilmorehill façade. The trouble is, I couldn’t see it all without standing too far away. So, as well as using my own photographs and sketches, I was given exclusive access to architect Sir George Gilbert Scott’s 19th century drawings in the University archives.

My drawing, at 1.5m wide, took 200 hours to complete. As well as being displayed in the university, it has been used to create a range of products for the University shop.

"Commissioning Jennifer has been a joy. The process was smooth and met deadlines, communication and file supply were spot-on and Jennifer’s work is proving a big hit with customers. I highly recommend her!"
