The Vennel & The Orangerie

It’s one of the most visited spots in Edinburgh but for my newlyweds customers, The Vennel holds a special place in their hearts. It’s where they got engaged, and formed the first part of a memorable double-commission. I was tasked with capturing the romance of The Vennel as well as The Orangerie in the grounds of Dalkeith Palace, where the wedding ceremony took place. I love the contrast between Edinburgh Castle rock and the cobbled streets, and the intricate architectural detail of The Orangerie.
