Virgin Hotels Edinburgh

Some Edinburgh residents might remember that the India Buildings on Victoria Street was originally a registry office! I was asked in 2018 to draw the building as it looked in the 1990's (from photos provided by the customer) as a wedding anniversary present for their partner. When the building was being converted into the now Virgin Hotels, I was approached by the company (who found my original drawing online) to draw an updated version of the building from a different angle and to of course include the iconic red door. The image is used as welcome cards for guests at the hotel.

I completed second commission for the hotel of their event space - a converted church at the bottom of the Cowgate - Greyfriars Church Hall. The drawing is used for branding on their event stationery and as a gift for couples who get married at the church.
