The Royal Scotsman

I was commissioned by The Royal Scotsman earlier this year to complete a series of drawings of views from and of the train itself. The first is of the train passing over the Forth Rail Bridge, the second is the train sitting at Perth Station and the last a view of the railway tracks from the unique 'Observation Deck' at the back of the Royal Scotsman. The drawings were then used as postcards for the customers of the train as a memento of their journey. Additionally, the company asked me to create an illustrated map of Pitlochry - one of their stops on the journey - for customers to use as they wander round the town.

This commission was a joy to complete and was an interesting challenge as trains are not my usual subject!
